United States Coast Guard Officer-In-Charge Afloat Device

Criteria: The Officer-In Charge (OINC) Afloat Device is pewter toned with a Coast Guard shield and anchor superimposed on a rope grommet. Enlisted members who have earned an OINC device and subsequently advance to officer status may continue to wear the device until they qualify for an equivalent "Officers" command device, at which time the enlisted device will no longer be worn.
