United States Navy E-4/5/6 Aerographer's Mate Rating Badge

Criteria: Worn by Aerographer's Mates (AG) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Aerographer's Mates are the weathermen of the United States Navy. They are trained as meteorologists and in the use of aerological instruments that are used in the monitoring of air pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction. They prepare weather maps and forecasts to help insure safe flights. They can also assist in the firing of anti-aircraft and shore bombardments by providing accurate wind and weather data.

The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
