Massachusetts National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon

Criteria:

This is the Massachusetts National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Massachusetts National Guard who, during duty preform an act that risk their own life. This act must represent a willingness to go above a beyond the call of duty and be easily identifiable as a heroic act. For subsequent awards a bronze oak leaf cluster is presented, while a 6th award is shown by a silver oak leaf cluster.
