This is the Maryland National Guard Emergency Service Medal Ribbon. It was formerly known as the Maryland National Guard State Active Duty Ribbon. It is awarded to Maryland National Guard personnel for being mobilized by the Governor of Maryland or by the Federal Government to support a domestic emergency or crisis. This award can be earned more than once and is shown with bronze Arabic numerals.
