United States Air Force Intelligence Command Full Color PatchThe Air Force Intelligence Command (AFIC) was created on October 1,1991 after the redesignation of the Air Force Electronic Security Command (ESC). The AFIC was put in charge of consolidating and restructuring the personnel and missions of the Air Special Activities Center at Fort Belvoir, Va., the Air Force Foreign Technology Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, and elements of the Air Force Intelligence Agency, Washington D.C., into a single command.
