Gold Antarctica (Wintered Over) Device

Criteria: The Antarctic Device or "Wintered Over" Device is presented by the U.S. military to recipients of the Antarctic Service Medal who have spent one or more winters serving in Antarctica. The device is worn as a disk attachment on the award ribbon and may be bronze to demonstrate one winter of service, gold to signify two winters of service or silver for three or more winters of service.
