Criteria: Worn by Cryptologic Technicians (ET) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Cryptologic Technicians are typically responsible for the flow of messages and information within the USN. They also conduct Electronic Warfare. While their work will depend on their special branch (CTI, CTM, CTN, CTR, CTT), all of their work involves electronic communication or intelligence.

The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
