Criteria: Worn by Aviation Electrician's Mates (AE) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Aviation Electrician's Mates are typically responsible for all aircraft electrical power generating and converting systems. They maintain, install and repair all of the lighting, control, and indicating systems as well as maintain flight and engine instrument systems.

The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
