Civilian Aerial Achievement Medal Ribbon

The Civilian Aerial Achievement Medal is awarded to civilian personnel in the name of the Secretary of the Air Force. It is bestowed upon personnel who distinguish themselves by sustained meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight. It must be and achievement that is above what is expect of a professional airman. The decoration is intended to recognize the achievements of air crewmen who are not eligible for the Air Medal.
