Criteria: This item is the unit crest, or distinctive unit insignia, of the 238th Regiment. The unit's motto, "Semper Ductus," is printed in black letters on the bottom of the design and translates as, "Always A Leader." The torch is symbolic of knowledge and leadership. The fifteen stars allude to Kentucky, where this unit is based, the fifteenth state. This item is made for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
