Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 156th Engineer Battalion. Ex Magno Ad Maximus is their motto and means Great To Greatness. Originally approved in 2007 for the Special Troops Battalion, 56th Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division and redesignated in 2014. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
