United States Army 127th Field Artillery Regiment Unit Crest (Via Vi)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) have been worn by the 127th Field Artillery Regiment based out of the Kansas Army National Guard. Since 1972 Via Vi is their motto and means A Way by Force. Originally approved in 1927, these unit crests have also been worn by the 114th Cavalry Regiment, 127th Field Artillery Regiment, 127th Field Artillery Battalion, and the 127th Artillery Regiment. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
