Criteria: This is the unit crest for the 10th Cavalry Regiment, currently based at Fort Carson, Colorado. The buffalo has long been the symbol of the 10th Cavalry as it is known as one of the original "Buffalo Soldier" regiments dating back to the Indian Wars. These unit crests are worn on the shoulder loops of the Army Class A Uniform.
