United States Army 104th Training Division (Old Version) Unit Crest (We Succeed)

This design was In use from its inception on 15 December 1942 until it was replaced with a new design on 20 July 2006. The design is evocative of the unit's numerical designation. The crescent in the bird's beak symbolizes the roman numeral C meaning one hundred. The bird itself is a martlet which, in traditional heraldry, represents the fourth son. The crest also displays the unit's old motto, "We Succeed," across the bottom.
