Criteria: This is the Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB) worn by the Army Central (3rd Army). Army Central (3rd Army) is best known for its campaigns in WWII under the command of General George S. Patton which lead to their nickname "Patton's Own". This SSI was originally approved for the 3rd Army in 1922 it was later redesignated for the US Army Central in 2006. The Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB) is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
