Mexican Service Medal Ribbon - Army
The Mexican Service Medal is a decoration presented by the United States military to recognize service members who participated in specific expeditions against Mexico from April 12, 1911 - June 16, 1919. The U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy/Marine Corps have different versions of the medal, with the Army version showing a yucca plant and the Navy/Marine Corps version showing a fortress with water. There are no devices authorized for the Navy/Marine Corps version; however, a citation star for heroism in battle is authorized for the Army version.
