Korea Defense Service Medal
The Korea Defense Service Medal is a decoration presented by the United States Armed Forces to individuals who served in the Korean Theater after July 28, 1954, following the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement. To be eligible, service members must have served at least 30 consecutive or 60 cumulative days in the Korean Theater. Service time may be waived when a service member has required medical evacuation after having been wounded in battle or has served in aircrew flights that totaled more than 30 days of duty in Korean airspace.
