This is the Georgia State Defense Force Unit Commander's Award with large gold frame. This award is presented to a member within a unit by the Unit Commander to recognize an individual's outstanding duty and service to their unit. This award is only authorized once in a 12 month period and it cannot be awarded to the same individual again in a 48 month period.
