United States Army Connecticut National Guard Unit Crest
Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the Connecticut National Guard. The design consists of a blue hexagon with a silver shield overlaid by three grapevines. The grapevine has been a traditional symbol of Connecticut since 1759. The Arms of Connecticut as they appear were approved by the State General Assembly in 1897. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is designed specifically for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
