Bronze V Device
Criteria: The bronze Valor Device or "V" Device is a decoration of the U.S. Military that is worn as an attachment to specific awards to signify when earned for valor. It is utilized to distinguish between awards that can be either won based on valor in direct combat or won based on merit in non combat conditions. This award must be recommended by a superior.
The "V" Device is worn in the center of the award ribbon or on the wearer's right when worn with other devices, such as oak leaf Clusters or stars. While multiple "V" devices may be awarded, only one device is worn per award ribbon.
