Air Reserve Meritorious Service Medal Ribbon
Criteria: The Air Reserve Meritorious Service Medal (ARMS) is granted to Air Force Reservists for commendable behavior, efficiency, and reliability during three years of enlisted and active service. Additional awards of the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal are denoted with oak leaf clusters. The ARMS was created in 1964 as the "Air Force Reserve Ribbon", then in 1971 the decoration evolved into a full sized medal with its current name. Between the years of 1965 and 1974 this awards was granted to personnel with four years of distinguished reserve service, then in 1975 the time limit was lowered to three years.
