United States Army 577th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Agendo Gnaviter)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 577th Engineer Battalion. Agendo Gnaviter is their motto and means By Doing Diligently. Originally approved in 1942 for the 377th Engineer Battalion, redesignated in 1943 for the 377th Engineer General Service Regiment, and finally in 1955 for the 577th Engineer Battalion (Construction). Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
