United States Army 130th Infantry Regiment Unit Crest (Always Ready)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 130th Infantry Regiment. Their motto is Always Ready. The 130th Aviation Regiment is part of the Illinois National Guard. Most aspects of the design represents service in different conflicts. The black hawk and arrows symbolized service in the Black Hawk War. The red, white and green symbolize the Mexican flag for service in the Mexican War. Service in the Civil war is shown by the blue saltire cross. The red fleur-de-lis is for service in France during WWI. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
